Courses for English speaking students
Welcome!!! English-speaking and Foreign students who intend to take driving license course at D-1 driving school
D-1 Driving School is on Sukhumvit 101/1 Road, Bangkok. D-1 is the one stop service solution for students who would like to practice driving and take driving license tests at school. We provide both the driving license course and the practice driving courses for students. The driving license courses for both cars and motorcycles are certified by the Department of Land Transport, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Education. Students, who take the course and pass the driving license tests, will receive the certificate from the school and they can bring it to any offices of the Department of Land Transport in Thailand to issue the driving license card, conveniently.
Required Documents for the application process:
1.Passport and the Certificate of Residence issued from the Embassy or the Immigration Office to show your address in Thailand or
Pink Identification card and the House Registration Book.
2.Photo size 2 inch. By not wearing eyeglasses or a hat. (the photo is taken within 6 months)
3.Medical Certificate (the document is issued within 1 month)
Car Driving License Course
All students need to be 18 years old or older. They are required to take physical tests (eyes and reaction tests) and then to take at least 15 training hours (10- hour practical and 5- hour theoretical sessions) and to finally take the practical and theoretical tests at school. The course can be completed within 2-5 days depending on students’ performance of the practices and the tests. There is no requirement for driving skills for an application. Only school training vehicles are used for this course. The driving license course is valid for 180 days: starting from the first day of a student’s fingerprint scanning in the department of land transportation system.
Motorcycle driving license course
All students need to be 15 years old or older. They are required to take eye and reaction tests and then to take at least 15 training hours (10-hour practical and 5-hour theoretical sessions) and to finally take the practical and theoretical tests. The course can be completed within 2 days depending on students’ performance of the practices and the tests. Students’ driving skills are a must for the application. Only school training vehicles are used for the instructions and the tests. The driving license course is valid within 180 days starting from the first day of a student’s fingerprint scanning in the department of land transportation system, done at the school.
